Food and Nutrition:

Meals and snacks are included in my fees. I have provided a sample menu to give some idea of the meals and snacks I provide for children.

Good nutrition is especially important for growing children, and I aim to serve the healthiest and highest quality meals possible. I buy fair trade and locally grown food wherever possible, and prepare meals each day with the help and input of the children so that they continue to learn about healthy eating.

This year we have joined the RHS Campaign for School Gardening and grown some of our own salad, herbs and vegetables, and our lovely chickens have been providing us with tasty eggs for baking!

I follow the EYFS guidance for Food and Drink, and drinking water is always available for children, although other drinks, such as milk, fruit juice and smoothies are also available if children would like.

I am happy to look after children with additional dietary requirements, although children with severe allergies may need to bring their own packed meals with them.
